What the sources say
OSHA extended the second compliance date under the updated Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) from 20 Jul 2026 to 20 Nov 2026. By that date employers must, as necessary, update alternative workplace labeling, update the written hazard communication program, and give any additional training for newly identified physical or health hazards. Two later dates also moved: 19 Nov 2027 and 19 May 2028 (see the Federal Register notice).
